Welcome to Lynette Morris-Hale's Ceramic Art Classes
Join award winning ceramic artist and teacher Lynette Morris-Hale for some pottery fun. Lynette has many years of teaching experience and involvement with clay.
She was chair person of the KZN Ceramic Association for many years and ran a pottery studio in Durban until she relocated to Kube Yini, Zululand and Pringle Bay, Western Cape.
Her teaching abilities has enabled her to develop projects for all ages (Ages 6 and up.) In a lesson one could make different things. For example little soap dishes, bowls, animals , fish or paint a design on a mug or plate. Or bring your own ideas to discuss with Lynette.
This is an ideal time to make gifts for friends, teachers , for yourself, for your kitchen, your home. All work will be fired and if necessary packed and posted to you. A great activity for the family and friends and clubs.
"This year PwC really wanted to do something different for our annual Women's Day function - something enticing, therapeutic and that will leave our invitees with a lasting impression. We arranged for Lynette to come through and help each lady build their own "fat fertility goddess". Our ladies absolutely loved it! Each lady was able to bring out their inner creative spirit and build their own representation of a fat fertility goddess, something which corporate working ladies are not often able to do. It was a wonderful experience and something we would love to repeat at PwC. Thank you Lynette!" PriceWaterhouseCoopers
"Thank-you for an amazing evening!! We all LOVED it." - Durban Bookclub - two hours course making milkjugs

“Under Lynette’s mentoring I've been encouraged to find my own voice and idiom in how to work with clay and in what I create. She is always patient to explain how each type of glaze/oxide/stain works and I have learnt so much” Jenni Karlsson
“The important thing for me has been Lynette’s guidance in her quiet yet encouraging way- challenging me to develop myself and explore creativity in ways I never imagined. I have relied on her technical skills- which are excellent! Going to her classes has changed my life” Glenda Karow
